Organic Hand Sanitising Spritz; The Power of Botanicals

As a natural perfumer, when it came to creating our Esmerelda Botanicals hand sanitising spritz I wanted to ensure I incorporated organic essential oils, which would further enhance the properties of the sanitising spritz. We use 84.0% organic wheat alcohol in our spritz, which is necessary to kill covid, and 99.9% of viruses. But then I added tea tree oil for its powerhouse of antimicrobial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. Lemon peel provides a beautiful fresh scent whilst also boosting antimicrobial effects. Eucalyptus promotes feelings of clear breathing, and lavender is an antiseptic which also calms and soothes. Together, when blended with the alcohol and aloe vera leaf juice they combine to a wonderful citrusy, uplifting and energising scent, which is softened by the notes from the lavender.
